Step 1 - The message from Paray le Monial

The journey aims to introduce the mystery of the Heart of Jesus, which two popes, Pius XI and Pius XII, said constituted in some way the «summary of all religion». It is thus, in a way, a Neocatechumenal catechesis, who prepares for a personal or family consecration to the Heart of Jesus. But above all it is about propose an experience of the Heart of Jesus through teachings, prayer, the sacraments, especially the Eucharist, and a fraternal communion.
The message of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Paray-le-Monial
01 Part one of the message
In the Bible, the heart expresses «the innermost mystery of man» (John Paul II). As the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC 2563) states, it is ultimately the place of decision, of covenant. Consequently, this symbol came to express, in a privileged way, love in the Middle Ages. Christ took up this symbolism to show Margaret Mary his ardent love for mankind on the Cross and in the Eucharist.
02 Second part of the message
This is to highlight a drama: the fact that most people are indifferent to this love that is given to the end, particularly in the Eucharist. The three apparitions, moreover, took place while Margaret Mary was in adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. Jesus complained particularly of the lukewarmness of those consecrated to him, priests and religious, but also of sacrilege, which could be an allusion to the famous «Affair of the Poisons».
