2nd Stage - The Consecration to the Sacred Heart
Ten good reasons to devote yourself to the Heart of Jesus
To give love for love
The dynamic of consecration that we propose is lived out in a double upward and downward movement: on the one hand, personal and family consecrations prepare for the consecration of a parish (upward movement); on the other hand, the consecration of a parish encourages personal and family consecrations (downward movement). In a similar way, the consecration of dioceses and episcopal conferences prepares for the consecration of the Church, which is an incentive for these consecrations of the various episcopal conferences.
The aim of this second stage is therefore to show what is at stake in personal consecration, but also in family and parish consecration, etc., so that all the faithful, lay people and priests, can mobilise in the run-up to 27 June 2025.hat are the reasons for consecrating myself to the Heart of Jesus? Why consecrate my family, my parish, my diocese?
What are the reasons to consecrate myself to the Heart of Jesus? Why consecrate my family, my parish, my diocese?
How can we dedicate ourselves?
Discover what the Sacred Heart spirituality is
To (re)discover the treasures of the spirituality of the Sacred Heart. We shall see in this journey that we have here a real treasure... forgotten or poorly known. The 350th anniversary jubilee and this journey help us to see its relevance and beauty for us.
02 To be renewed in my baptism
To profoundly.
03 Welcoming God's love for me
To experience the Lord's love for me, to listen to the beating of His Heart, and to welcome more of His divine mercy into my life
04 The mission
To make known to modern men this incredible message of love and hope that the Heart of Jesus offered to the world through Saint Margaret Mary. Immersing oneself in the Heart of Jesus fuels my missionary desire to make His Love known. The spirituality of the Sacred Heart is accessible to all; it is a popular devotion and an entry point into the Church.
05 A contagion
To bring others into this consecration to the Heart of Jesus: my family, my parish or my diocese.
06 Communion with the whole world
The 350th anniversary jubilee appearances of the Heart of Jesus to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque at the Visitation of Paray le Monial offer a unique opportunity to live together, in communion with the entire world which will enter into a common movement of consecration to the Sacred Heart on 27 June 2025.
07 Fruits for the family
Consecration also refers to the consecration linked to the sacrament of marriage, and the fact that the family is the “domestic Church”, the first Church in a way. It shows Jesus to be the true shepherd of our families, the “King of hearts”, the One who watches over all our affairs (family, professional, social) as long as we give him first place in our hearts and homes.
08 The revival of the Church
To participate in the renewal of the parish and diocese. Devotion to the Sacred Heart fosters a new eucharistic fervour (celebration, adoration), which is the source of ecclesial communion and therefore of evangelisation by contagion (“See how they love one another”).
09 Fruits for society
For the fruits of peace and social justice, as Pope Francis reminded Ecuador on 8 July 2015: « I. »..
10 To return love for love
Instead of despairing over our personal mediocrity, our family difficulties, the state of the Church, our country, and the world, let us offer ourselves to the Lord, give ourselves to him without reservation, totally, «for the glory of God and the salvation of the world.»
